Sant Baba Tara Singh Sampardai Kaar Sewa Sarhai would like to extend an invitation to the Sanggat to attend the annual barsi programme of Bhram Giani Sant Baba Tara Singh ji and Bhram Giani Sant Baba Charan Singh ji at Sarhai, Tarn Taran, Punjab. The programme will be as follows:

July 2011. The barsi of Brahm Giani Sant Baba Charan Singh ji will be celebrated with Raen Sebhai Kirtan on 10 July 2011 at Gurpuri Sahib, Sarhali (Tarn Taran). A number of ragi jethas and dhadi jethas have been invited to participate in the event. Akhand Paath da Bhog will take place on 11 July, 2011.

Baba Charan Singh ji left for his heavenly abode on July 11, 2001. He was head of Sampardai Kaar Sewa after Brahm Giani Sant Baba Tara Singh ji. He was a prolific kirtani, singing the praises of Waheguru ji for up to 18 hours on the barsi of Baba Tara Singh ji!
Majooda Mukhi, Sant Baba Sukha Singh ji and Baba Hakim Singh ji would like to extend their invitation to well-wishers / members of the Sangat.
Work begins on Nursing College in Chattisgarh

On 12 Jan 2011, construction began for BiA Nursing College in Raipur, the capital city of Chhattisgarh. An initiative of Guru Gobind Singh Group of Institutes, the college will sit on 10 acres of land in Atari village and intends to produce qualified and skilled nurses.

The annual Barsi Semagam of Sant Baba Tara Singh ji attracted a record number of visitors and well-wishes this year. All estimates indicate that around 500,000 attended the program, including well-known Sikh personalities and visitors from overseas. As with previous years, the volunteer sewadars and public at large gave their all to make the event a success. This barsi semagam is now one of the largest to be held in Punjab.
The program started off with the Arambh of Sri Akhand Paath Sahib on 30 Dec 2010, followed by an all-night Kirtan Darbar the following day and ending with Bhog the morning after on the 1st of Jan 2011. It was truly a great way to usher in the new year!
Amrit Ceremony:Several Gursikhs tooks amrit from the Punj Pyare this year. It is hoped that more individuals will come forward in the coming year.
Mass Weddings:This year too, Sant Baba Tara Singh Sampardai Kaar Sewa, Sarhali organised mass weddings of dozens of couples from poor families on 2nd Jan 2011. Each couple was carefully vetted and issued with documentation verifying their identities, etc. They were also presented with 'daaj' - gifts to help them start off their new life together.
Sarovar - Foundation Ceremony:Five esteeemed Sikh personalities were invited to lay the foundation for a Sarovar next to Gurdwara Gurpuri Sahib. These were: Baba Daya Singh (Sur Singh), Giani Joginder Singh Vedanti, Baba Nand Singh (Munda Pind), Baba Harnam Singh (Damdami Taksaal) and Baba Sukha Singh of the Sampardai. Also involved were Baba Hakim Singh and Jathedar Beera Singh, among others.
